R&B is a very popular music genre that is widely spread mostly in USA. Actually the trend has started from here. R&B music is a deviation and then a transformation from gospel music.
R&B music has 60 years of life and tens of artists that have pleased their audience with the songs. From the first to sing this genre we can name Barry White, ay Charles, Aretha Franklin, etc. The list continues to the famous Elvis and is now adding singers like Stevie Wonder and R Kelly.
R&B music is mostly preferred by teenagers, but also elder people will love listening to it, especially when it comes to singers that evolved in their youth.
R&B has many fans in USA and all over the world. Because of this the money that circle in this industry are very important. There are more and more those that are trying to make a name in this industry and they chose R&B for this; if they succeed or not is up to them.

The term of R&B comes from rhythm and blues. Together with Hip Hop R&B is probably the most appreciated type of music today. There are so many fans of this genre of music but in the same time there are a lot of fans. The rhythm and blues music has been introduced by black people and was describing the blues songs that were love songs and with a slower rhythm. Today R&B has more rhythm and the songs have as subject a lot of themes.
The genre was previously spread in USA but in a short time it became very popular abroad as well and the request for it grew. Today there are a lot of singers that are performing R&B and they are not solely from USA, but also from Europe, Asia, etc.
Since there are so many singers on the market it is very hard for them to keep on top and actually not all of them make it. But the R&B music does make it.
